Even children get older

I kind of feel the need to give a little update on my life, broken down in neatly arranged points. The reason for this is, well, there is no reason really. Other than that I feel the urge to write. In English, mostly, obviously. Maybe mixed up with some Dutch. Take it as I go.
  1. I want to start by saying today's earthquake in Spain was in Lorca, about 700 km from Salamanca. Thus you needn't worry, we're fine here. We didn't feel anything. I did hear it was the worst and deadliest earthquake here since 1956, so... It is pretty serious.
  3. I hope the pollen did fall down with the rain, so that the world won't seem covered in some kind of snowy fur anymore.
  4. Also, no moths in my room anymore please. The dead one I left by my window clearly doesn't work as a sign for them to keep out.
  5. The last Glee episode had some nice unexpected turns. [Shhh, I won't tell!] Oh, and do I love me some Veronica-Logan action. Though Leo is hot as well. Yes, I know. Veronica Mars and Glee are two different series, but I happen to follow Glee and do some VM reruns at the same time...
  6. I will secretly be glad to go back home, but I will also miss my life here. Yes, I do like being and living here, despite my despair at times. Spain is different from Belgium after all, and sometimes it gets in the way. Sometimes, I make a drama out of it. That is just me. Wether it be hormones (I am a woman after all and I cannot deny my being liable to that. It is called nature, get over it) or my own emotions, it is me.
  7. After almost 4 months here, I can safely say that yes, I've been living my dream of being abroad for some time but also that it has been one hell of an instructive rollercoaster ride. And when I say rollercoaster ride, it is not always positive. It means ups and downs. I don't know wether I would have learned the same lessons had I stayed home, nor if I'd made the same improvements. So no, between the moodswings, the setbacks, difficulties, the new people, new friends, new perspectives and other positive things, I do not regret coming here.
That said, I'm going to bed. Sweet dreams.
